About The Culture Shop

Why do we stay with our mission?

"I have the audacity to believe that people everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, quality, and freedom for their spirits." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Many of you have asked what else can be done to help the less fortunate of our global community. Through The Culture Shop, you now have another chance to contribute and support our mission as we work to even the financial playing field for countless men, women, and children who do not have the voice to speak of the injustice they experience daily.

The Culture Shop works hard to accomplish the following goals:

  1. Improve fair trade education,
  2. Inform the public about the importance of recognizing and appreciating the uniqueness of our global cultural community
  3. Increase the awareness and support of organizations who need our voice, and
  4. Reach out to policymakers locally, nationally, and internationally who are in positions of influence.

Stand with us today and become part of these efforts; make the education of cultures a part of your world. Your participation and generous support is essential. Our goal is to provide education and community outreach programs that will enhance the quality of life for not just our members and visitors but equally important, the countless people whose livelihood depend on each of our unselfish support.

As you can see, The Culture Shop is much more than "just another pretty face." We have accepted the challenge from our community to be a change agent. But with so much injustice plaguing our global family, we must reach back to our community for support. There is much work to be done but with your continuous financial support, we can make a difference - one person at a time.

"In your hands lies the future of your world and the fulfillment of the best qualities of your own spirit." - Robert F. Kennedy
